Delco: Welcome To The Land Of Deals!

  Welcome to this new blog, created to help residents of Delco and beyond who are struggling to make ends meet in the current economy. My hope is to tell you all the  good deals, discounts and freebies that I discover.Times are tough for many and no matter what one's economic, job or personal  situation is, there's no doubt about the fact that few among us don't like to get a good deal when we can.
  Working at a newspaper, I am privvy to press releases about area entertainment venues that offer "free days," grand opening celebrations offering incentives and give-aways at local businesses (And I am not talking about  the widely-known Rita Water Ice's First Day Of Spring freebies or Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee giveaways, although no doubt I will remind readers of those!).
  Newspapers have only a certain amount of space and we don't like to give away free advertising by mentioning certain businesses. Therefore, I always feel badly because I can't share these deals with the readers. So that's what I hope to do here.
  So check out my blog a few times each week (or more often) to see what free and dirt cheap "deals" I will share with you.
  I hope you will also comment and share a few 'discoveries" of your own. Readers can help readers. Please comment too and let me and other readers know if you or your family benefit from the tips.Feedback will encourage future postings.
