FREE Day at Tyler Arboretum

It’s National Public Garden Day
In honor of National Public Gardens Day, May 6, Tyler Arboretum will devote the May 6-7 weekend to interactive, educational and innovative programs and garden tours. Admission to the Arboretum is free on May 6 with a National Public Gardens Day coupon; download the coupon good for two free admissions at www.BHG.com. Also, there will be free giveaways while supplies last, including aluminum water bottles, perfect for a day of hiking, and sunflower seeds to help start your own garden. The Arboretum will be open 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., May 6-7. The weekend will also showcase Children’s Activity Stations, Tree House Scavenger Hunts, and Bluebird and Pond Discovery Stations. Two special tours will also take place: the Wister Rhododendron Garden at 11 a.m. and Woodland Wildflowers at 1 p.m.
