Hackett Invites Families to Senior Expo
Rep. Joe Hackett (R-Delaware) invites area senior citizens, their caregivers, and their families to attend his Senior Health and Lifestyle Expo on 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thurs. (Sept. 22) at the Brookhaven Municipal Building, 2 Cambridge Road in Brookhaven.
Government agencies and health care experts from many local companies serving the senior community will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on what services are available for seniors.
“This is a wonderful chance for seniors and their families to learn more about the state programs and services available to them,” Hackett said. “I urge everyone to take part. We will have health care professionals on hand, representatives of state agencies, and other exhibitors who will discuss topics of importance to seniors.”
Among those expected to attend are representatives from the Crozer Chester Medical Center, AARP, SEPTA, the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office Fraud Prevention Unit and many others.
The event and parking are free.
