Free Coffee At Linwood Wawa


    On Wednesday, September 8 at 8 a.m. Wawa’s 45th anniversary celebration at store 7, 1439 Market Street, Linwood, will begin! To mark this special anniversary and celebrate Wawa’s continued investment in the community, Wawa will renew their vows to the community through a wedding-inspired, in-store celebration that will take place on the same day. During the celebration, Wawa will toast the community, recognizing customers and associates for their loyalty and business throughout the years, through FREE coffee all day.
   The moment Wawa customers step into the store, they will notice the barrage of wedding-themed decorations including a gigantic coffee cup cake constructed entirely out of Wawa coffee cups, with a figurine of Wawa’s Mascot, Wally Goose, dressed in a tuxedo on the top of the cake. The cake will be encircled by Wawa’s Values, meant to reflect Wawa’s renewed vows to the community. Customers and associates will be handed red foam hearts, and will be serenaded by special guests Wally and the Honkers, Wawa’s all-kazoo band featuring Wawa’s mascot, Wally Goose, dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, with his kazoo-playing entourage.
   To honor veteran customers of honor, Wawa will present each of these customers with a specially designed Wawaversary travel mug, filled with one month’s worth of free Wawa coffee coupons. In addition, each of these customers will be presented with a ceremonial “key to the store,” and make a donation on behalf of these customers to the charity of their choice. The customers of honor will throw their coffee coupon bouquets into the crowd symbolizing the end of the official ceremony. Cake will then be served to the crowd and music and dancing will end the festivities.
