Free Concert At Cabrini College

   A free concert featuring a Philadelphia Orchestra flutist and an acclaimed pianist is set for 3 p.m. Sept. 26 in the Mansion on the campus of Cabrini College, 610 King of Prussia Road, Radnor. The dynamic duo of Mimi Stillman (flute) and Charles Abramovic (piano) have performed together for more than eight years, and will present works by Gabriel Fauré, Michel Blavet, Olivier Messiaen, and music from Stillman and Abramovic’s forthcoming compact disc.
   A highly regarded concert flutist, Stillman has performed at Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. At the age of 12, she was the youngest wind player admitted to the Curtis Institute of Music. She is founder and artistic director of the Dolce Suono Chamber Music Concert Series in Philadelphia.
  Abramovic made his orchestral debut at 14 with the Pittsburgh Symphony, and has received critical acclaim for international performances as soloist and chamber musician. He is a professor of keyboard studies at Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music. He is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Peabody Conservatory. He earned a doctor of musical arts degree from Temple University.
