Visit Academy Of Natural Sciences- FOR FREE!!!!!

    The Academy of Natural Sciences on Saturday, Sept. 25, will participate in a nationwide program offering free admission to visitors who present a ticket downloaded from Smithsonian magazine’s website.

    The Museum Day Ticket is available to download at www.smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present the official pass will gain free admission for two people. One ticket is permitted per household, per e-mail address.
   The offer is part of the Smithsonian’s sixth annual Museum Day in which 1,300 museums and cultural institutions nationwide are participating.
   Founded in 1812, the Academy is the oldest natural history museum in the Americas and a world leader in biodiversity and environmental research. The mission of the Academy is the encouragement and cultivation of the sciences.
   HOURS: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. ADMISSION: $12 adults; $10 children 3-12, seniors, college students, and military personnel; free for members and children under 3.
   $2 fee for Butterflies!
