Community Invited To Visit ‘Bethlehem Village’

    Before Black Friday, before malls and even before Santa Claus, there was Bethlehem Village. First Baptist Church at Clifton and Andrews Avenue  in Collingdale will once again present tours that will take visitors back in time to the very first Christmas.
   On Friday and Saturday evenings December 10, 11, 17 and 18, local residents are invited to bring the entire family to the special event. A 'Shepherd Guide' will lead them on a 30-minute tour that will include mini-dramas at various locations around the church campus. Through the dramas, guests will hear the true story of Christmas as presented in the Bible.
    At the end of the tour, people will visit the 'Bethlehem Marketplace' where they’ll can enjoy some light refreshments as well as visit with Bethlehem merchants. Tours will run  6:30  to 9 p.m. on the scheduled nights. There is no cost for the event. For more information, call the church office at 610-586-3563.
