Delco Bar Assn. Hosts Free Program On Credit Rights
Members of the community are invited to attend a free seminar, “Consumer Protection and Credit Rights,’ sponsored by the Delaware County Bar Association’s Community Outreach Committee, 6:30 to 8p.m., Tuesday (Oct. 26) at the Delaware County Bar Association building, 335 West Front Street, Media.
Speaker Henry Hart from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office Bureau of Consumer Protection will offer an entertaining and educational presentation addressing many of the questions and concerns that confront all in this time of bank foreclosures, increasing credit card interest rates, inaccurate information in credit reports, etc.
Attendees will learn how to deal with credit card companies and collection agencies effectively; effectively manage debt; understand options in settling debt; and know when to seek legal help.
