FREE Celebrationl At Collen Brook

  Celebrate the 300th Anniversary Celebration of Collen Brook Farm at annual Fall Festival

Collen Brook Mansion stands on a flowing creek nestled among several beautiful acres of land in Drexel Hill. The mansion was built in 1794 and is on the National Register of Historic Places, however the first structure on the property was built in 1710.  

Join them on Oct. 10 from 1 - 4 P.M. for a special celebration.  
 Take a ride in a 1937 fire truck, paint a pumpkin, bob for an apple, hear a storyteller tell a Welsh tale, try colonial games, have some lunch, buy some attic treasures, tour the house, stroll the path along the Collen Brook, enjoy the music by the 69th PA Irish Volunteer Civil War Band.  At 2 P.M. there will be a strolling magician and at 3 P.M. there will be a party with cake and a bagpipe rendition of a Welsh tune.  Admission is FREE.
The mansion is located at the end of a lane off Mansion Rd. and Marvine Ave. in Drexel Hill. For further information check out the Upper Darby Historical Society web site at www.udhistory.org
