‘Goosebumps’ Plant Lecture Set
Area residents may join Scott Arboretum's Chris Hansen for a fast-paced look at the new shrubs, perennials and groundcovers for 2011. Hansen will present photos of the newest plants to hit garden centers this year -- plants designed to give gardeners "goosebumps," hence the name of the free lecture, 2p.m., Sunday (Jan. 22).
The lecture, free and open to the public, will be held in the Science Center 101 of Swarthmore College.
