FREE Local Tax Preparation Help Available

FREE TAX PREPARATION AT RIDLEY TOWNSHIP LIBRARY

Tax preparers from Pathways PA are coming to Ridley Township Library  to do your income tax returns. Pathways PA  is providing the free tax preparation assistance as part of the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Those with a household income of less than $50,000 are eligible for this free service. They'll be available on 2 dates: Friday, February 18th 1 - 4 pm, and Tuesday, March 15th 4:30 - 7:30 pm. Registration is required, since spaces are limited. The sessions will be held in the library’s lower level meeting room. Call 610-583-0593, email reference@ridleylibrary.org, or stop in at 100 E. MacDade Blvd., Folsom to reserve your spot.

If you or someone you know needs help paying for groceries, Pathways representatives will also be conducting screenings for the SNAP program (formerly the Food Stamp Program). No appointment is needed for this screening event. Just stop by the library during the times above (2/18 from 1-4 pm  and 3/15 from 4:30-7:30 pm) to find out if you are eligible.
