Art Show At Daylesford Abbey
The 39th Annual Daylesford Abbey Art Show continues through Feb. 27, featuring works in a variety of mediums by 87 juried artists.
Admission is FREE. Show hours are 1-4 p.m. daily and 1-8 p.m. Wednesdays. Dayleseford Abbey is at 220 South Valley Road, Paoli.

Take a one-hour, guided winter walk through the Haverford College
Arboretum, 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 20 and discover the beauty and
textures of the winter landscape. Meet in front of the Whitehead
Haverford. The walk is free and open to the public.

The Peace Center of Delaware County has announced its First-Friday
Large Screen Free Film Series will be held at on Friday, March 4 at
will be shown starting at 7 p.m.. This 1965 Arabic and French film
with English subtitle has a documentary-like look. The classic is set
during the Algerian War (1954 - 1962) and warns of the tragic
consequences of foreign domination and military occupation, as well
as the dangers of terrorism as a response to an occupying force.

If you have time, talent, and energy, you can make a difference by
becoming a volunteer literacy tutor to a Delaware County adult. The
Delaware County Literacy Council is offering 10 hours of FREE tutor
training, 6:30 to 9 p.m., March 7, 9, 14, and 16 at the Mt. Zion
United Methodist Church , 921 Main Street , Darby. Participants must
attend all four sessions and must pre-register by calling Susan at
