Hot Books and Hot Tea- All For Free. Now That's HOT!
Hot Tea and Hot Books
Everyone is invited to a lively conversation and a delicious cup of tea so they can discover the wonderful world of books and what’s hot to read. Senior Community Services’ Center for Life Long Learning is offering Hot Tea and Books on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, 10:30 AM, at Friendship Circle Senior Center . This program is an invitation to people who like to discover the hottest two books to read. A representative from Borders will also join us for this program to present on the “kindle” verses the “nook,” explaining its features, should you buy one and more. The program is run by Center Director Christine Helmandollar and encourages people to keep up with what’s hot! And right now, people want to learn about the “kindle,” “nook” and other electronic devices associated with the art of reading.
Hot Tea and Hot Books is offered on the fourth Tuesday of every month with the help of the Lansdowne Library capturing the highest requested books of the month For further information, or to register, call (610) 237-6222, Ext. 126. (Friendship Circle is located on Mercy Fitzgerald Campus, conveniently located opposite Holy Cross Cemetery on Wycombe Ave. in Darby.)
