   Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern has slated a Stroke Awareness Day, May 25, beginning at 11 a.m.
    The free program includes screenings, luncheon and presentations by Dr. Thomas Graham, chief of neurology for Main Line Health System, and Dr. Lester S. Dewis, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital stroke program physician.
The program focuses on stroke prevention and stroke rehabilitation.
Dr. Graham will discuss tactics for coping with stress and preventing stroke. Dr. Dewis will present Robots and Recovery: Stroke Rehabilitation in the 21st Century.

  Riddle Hospital, in honor of Older Americans Month offers programs in Health Center 3, Community Education Center:
May 24, 11 a.m.-noon -- Hip & Knee Replacement, with Eric B. Smith, MD, who will discuss treatment options, joint replacement surgery and more;
   May 24, 1-2 p.m. -- Younger Eyes for Older Americans, presented by Michael Negry, MD, who will review common eye conditions, such as Macular Degeneration, steps to preserve healthy eyes, diagnostic testing and nutritional supplements;
May 24, 3-4 p.m. -- Stroke Prevention, with David A. Thomas, DO, PhD; Chris Vannello, RN, BSN, and Cheryl Deitch, RN, BSN, who will cover the ins and outs of a stroke, risk factors and more.
May 26, 1-2 p.m. -- Who’s Afraid of the Scope: Colorectal Cancer, with Shirley S. Shih, MD, on the third leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. She will discuss the importance of early detection, colon health and prevention.
