Gearing Up for Summer Solstice Grand Finale

WHAT:          Missed your chance to experience the Eiffel Tower Light Show? Philly arts patrons can still see the magic along with tapping their feet to free live music at the Kimmel Plaza.  From May 11 to June 18, Post PIFA momentum continues in the Kimmel Center’s Plaza with more Free at the Kimmel entertainment, continued Eiffel Tower Light Shows and Free Wi-Fi connection.

                       

                        From May 11 until June 18^th, the Kimmel Center activates the Eiffel Tower Light Show and continues Free at the Kimmel Entertainment, offering the public Free Jacobs Music Lunchtime Recital Series, select Saturday family friendly performances, Friday Live and Free @ 5 performances of local talent, exemplifying the diversity of music that can be experienced during the Summer Solstice Celebration, June 18.

                        Wolfgang Puck Catering will also continue to provide PECO bar offerings with drinks and tasty finger foods during Free at the Kimmel performances.

                        The Kimmel Center’s Summer Solstice Celebration on June 18^th marks the end of the Kimmel Center’s 2010-11 season with non-stop entertainment from noon until 2am.  Solstice will be the last time Philadelphians may experience the Eiffel Tower Light Show, times TBD. Summer Solstice Celebration has grown into a community wide event that kicks off the summer season with live music, kid-friendly entertainment including face painting, balloon artists and jugglers, a fashion show, story slam, and so much more.
