FREE Downloadable Phillies Song

Phillies Phever Pitching To New Heights For 50s Music Icons
Singers Celebrate Ball Club’s Clinch Early With A Give-Away Of Their New Phillies Song

Philadelphia – Danny and the Juniors are such faithful fans of their hometown Philly baseball club that they wrote and recorded a new song about the team and their superb pitchers earlier this year when they heard of the signing of Cliff Lee to complete what they and many others feel is arguably four of the most excellent arms ever assembled on one pitching staff.  The song is entitled “Baseball’s Four Aces.”

Now as the season progresses and the Phillies Magic number to clinch the NL East Flag is down to 6 they are so excited by the success of their baseball idols that they’ve decided to send free of charge a downloadable mp3 copy of the song to the first 200 people who go to their website, http://www.dannyandthejuniors.com/, and email them requesting it. Group founding member Frank Maffei said, “ I promise those copies will be delivered within 2 weeks. Of course for those who miss the cut or want to download the song right away it is available at cdbaby, amazon.com, itunes and all the other music websites for only 99 cents.”

Co-Danny and the Juniors founder Joe Terry Stated, “ This is a terrific and inexpensive way for Phillies fans to own a listenable piece of this year’s Phillies baseball history.  It’s something that may never be repeated in the future.  We wrote the final stanza that salutes the bullpen, power, speed, coaching and management so the Phillies and the fans would know we are respectful of their entire game.”

Danny And The Juniors  were a teenage doo-wop quartet from Philadelphia comprising Danny Rapp, Dave White, Frank Maffei and Joe Terranova.  On January 6, 1958 they burst on the music scene as their first record, “At The Hop” displaced Pat Boone’s “April Love” to become the #1 song in the world, thus becoming one of the top-selling singles of 1958.  It now sits on Billboard's list of  #1 records as #23 all time.  Earlier this year their recording of “First Kiss To The Last” reached #1 on the prestigious Cashbox Magazine Beach Music Charts.  Now, in their seventh decade as performers, the group still appears at a multitude of venues including conventions, theatres, clubs, casinos, fairs and festivals.

“Baseball’s Four Aces” is available at cdbaby, amazon.com, itunes and all the other music websites for 99 cents.
