Douglas Brunner, MD, chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Taylor Hospital, and medical director of the Taylor Regional Rehabilitation Center, is presenting a lecture, “What You Need to Know About Stroke,” at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 20, at the Helen Kate Furness Library, 100 N. Providence Road, (Route 252), Wallingford.
He will discuss different types of strokes, signs and symptoms, who is most at risk and treatment options.
Joining him will be Maureen Glick, RN and Dana Simpers, RN, who will conduct free blood pressure screenings and offer interactive activities and giveaways.
