FREE AARP Driving Refresher Course Offered to VETS

November AARP Driving Refresher Course at Schoolhouse Senior Center

Great news!  Nov. 7^th AARP refresher class is free to veterans and their spouses.

Schoolhouse Senior Center will offer the American Association of Retired Persons’ (AARP) Driving Refresher course for Monday, November 7, 2011, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. If you have taken the 8-hour course through AARP, and can produce documentation of having taken it (certificate, cancelled check, insurance statement) you are eligible to take the 4-hour refresher course.  Space is limited. Free to Veterans and their spouses, but veterans must produce proof of service. All others make check out to AARP for $12.00 for members, $14 for non-members.  Registration is required.  No testing is involved.   Schoolhouse Center, located at 600 Swarthmore Avenue, Folsom.  To register, call the receptionist at (610) 237-8100.
