Help Yourself to Health Workshop at Friendship Circle Senior Center
Take charge of your health, and learn how to manage chronic conditions.
Friendship Circle Senior Center invites the public to attend the Help Yourself to Health Workshop on Monday, Feb. 6, 13, 27, March 5, 12, 19, 10-3:30 pm.
Do you have a chronic condition like diabetes, arthritis, asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, COPD, or anxiety? This Workshop teaches techniques to better manage symptoms like pain, fatigue, frustration and isolation. Learn to effectively communicate with your health professionals, friends and family; and make informed treatment, diet and exercise decisions. Attendees receive a free book and CD.
There’s no fee for these workshops, but registration is required. Deadline for Registration is January 31. To register, call (610) 237-6222 or stop in to the center.
The center is on the Mercy Fitzgerald Medical Campus, conveniently located opposite Holy Cross Cemetery on Wycombe Avenue in Darby.
