FREE Black History Month Celebration

 The Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) is planning lots of FREE stuff to celebrate Black History month. A special exhibit entitled "Heritage and Traditions" will be open all month long at the DCHS Research Library and Museum, 408 Avenue of the States, Chester, PA. For hours and info, call 610-872-0502/
  The exhibit will feature the works of artists Frederick West and Van Buren Payne as well as sculpture by Courtlandt Crait, interpretive dance by Monika Rogue, and the Haith Collection of African sculpture, carvings and furniture.
  On Sun., Feb. 26, DCHS will present Dr. Peter A. Lillback, president of The Providence Forum, who will present "The Theological Genius of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King's Letter From Birmingham Jail" with a performance by the Bradley Choir. This FREE event will take place 4-6 pm at The Community Performing Arts Center At PA Institute of Technology, 800 Manchester Ave., Media.
