Ridley Park Library ‘Mitten’ Program Available To Local Kids
The Ridley Park Library invites children ages six to eight and their parents/guardians to stop in the library this February to read the picture book "The Mitten," by Jan Brett, together and then make a mitten craft.
The library is running the make-and-take craft program on Saturday, February 4, 11, and 25. Parents interested in the program should call ahead to register for a time from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to participate in reading the story and making the craft.
"We are excited to be offering another make-and-take craft program for children and their parents to do together," said library director Mary Alice Walsh. "'Our previous program in December was successful, and we're hoping that our younger patrons enjoy 'The Mitten.'"
This program is free and sponsored by the Friends of the Ridley Park Library. To register, call the library at (610) 583-7207.
