*****************  Bands, Donations Sought For Fall Fellowship Concert Series
Linwood Heights United Methodist Church, 1627 Chichester Avenue, Linwood, hopes to  launch a free second Saturday evening of the month concert series. This Coffee and Music series will feature live bands and no cover charge, starting in September. These evenings will be held at four different area churches (Linwood UMC and three Delaware churches).
Reverend Ethel Guy said she hopes to "feature live bands, free food, and a good time for all ages. The purpose of this is to bring people in from the community who don't go to church, get to know them, and learn their needs, especially in an area hard hit by job loss with the closing of the refineries.    This will probably be combined with another food/services outreach to the community, a shared meal program that we are working on with other churches."
Bands interested in participating, or those who can donate snack or beverages for this event should e-mail ethelguy@comcast.net.
