A FREE event for the family pet!
Neumann Holds FREE Blessing Of Animals
The Blessing of the Animals, a popular annual event at Neumann University, will take place 4p.m., Sunday (Oct. 3) in the St. John Neumann Circle on the Aston campus. The event will open a week-long celebration of the legacy of St. Francis of Assisi.
Fr. Jude Michael Krill, OFM Conv., will bless pets and animals of all kinds. Last year, more than 50 pets -- including hamsters, fish, parakeets, rabbits, dogs and cats -- were among the animals blessed at the event that marks the feast of St. Francis.
All are welcome to the FREE event. For more information call 610-361-5307.
