Author To Visit Senior Center
Senior Community Services Center for Life Long Learning will offer a discussion and book signing by first-time children's author of "Snatch: The Adventures of David and Me in Old New York," Charles Fuller, 1:30 p.m. Wed. (Nov. 17) at Schoolhouse Center, 600 Swarthmore Ave., Folsom.
Attend this book signing and hear this Pulitzer Prize author's personal account about his first children's book. Charles Fuller is the author of A Soldier's Story and the 1982 recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Some other credits include Best American Play, New York Critics Circle Award, Edgar Allen Poe Award for Mystery Writing and the 1985 Academy Award Nominee for Best Screenplay for the motion picture "A Solder's Story."
There’s no fee to attend. The event is open to the public. Registration can be done by phone at 610- 237-8100.
