PHILADELPHIA, PA - - No one cooks better than Mom and now is Mom’s chance to not only earn bragging rights to the best recipe in town – but a new granite kitchen too!

Azalea Restaurant at The Omni Hotel at Independence Park is hosting the Make Over My Mom’s Kitchen Contest.  Share with Azalea  Mom’s best and most loved recipe and if selected, Mom’s recipe will be featured on Azaleas’ menu at their renowned Mother’s Day Brunch, Sunday May 8, 2011 where Mom will be the guest of honor! In addition, Colonial Marble and Granite will resurface mom’s kitchen in luxurious granite so her kitchen will look fabulous as she creates memorable meals!

“We thought this was a fun way to truly honor Moms this holiday,” said hotel General Manager AJ Williams III. “Everyone always says their Mom makes the best this or that and we say ok, prove it and we will put it on our menu and give mom the ultimate Mother’s Day gift!”

Colonial Marble & Granite will present to the winner 50-square feet of beautiful granite. Colonial Marble and Granite located at 201 W. Church Road in King of Prussia, PA has 4500 slabs of granite and 400 colors from which to choose. The winner will receive $1999 gift certificate to spend on any of the level one granite offerings. The prize includes the template, fabrication and installation of the granite, as well as an eased ¼ bevel or ¼ bull nose edge, and an under mount sink with a single hole faucet and pullout sprayer!

Colonial Marble & Granite will present to the winner a $1,999 gift certificate good for up to 50 square feet of any of their Level 1 stones including a new sink and faucet.
