FREE Pool Safety Program At YMCA

FREE, COMMUNITY-WIDE SAFE SWIM PROGRAM AT THE Y

                  

Lansdowne, PA (June 2011) – In an effort to help all children and adults be safe around water this summer, the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County will offer a free, Pool Safety Program at the Ridley Area YMCA located at 900 South Avenue in Secane, Pa. on Wednesday, June 29 from 6:30-7:30pm.

We believe that education and awareness is the key to keeping pools both safe and fun for the public and we’ve geared this program towards educating families and children on the importance of water and pool safety. Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y and this program is just one way that we can teach safety and support our neighbors in the communities we serve.

At the Y, we know that swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and we want everyone to safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.
