FREE Fire Cadet Academy Available To 13-17 Year Olds

   The Fire Cadet Academy is a free four day summer camp for students ages 13-17 who are interested in careers in Firefighting, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services and 911 Emergency Dispatch.
   Cadets who attend the Academy will be introduced to fire science, law enforcement and basic first aid and CPR. The cadets are exposed to interactive scenarios that allow them to safely experience what the Firefighters, Police Officers and Emergency Medical Technicians do on a daily basis.
  The Fire Cadet Academy will be held 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 22, 23, 24 and 25 at Lansdowne Fire Co., 26 N. Highland Ave., Lansdowne.
