FREE Walk-in flu clinic available

The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DoH), in cooperation with the Delaware County Department of Intercommunity Health, will conduct a free walk-in flu shot clinic 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Yeadon Borough Hall, 100 Church Lane, Yeadon. The clinic is open to all residents age 6 months and older.
The clinic is free, but people are asked to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for donation to a local food bank.
People will be asked to complete a brief screening to determine if they are allergic to eggs, or have ever had a reaction to a flu shot.
A listing of Flu Shot Clinics, at drugstores, hospitals, libraries and community centers, is posted and continually updated on the Delaware County website at www.co.delaware.pa.us. For additional information, people can call the Department of Intercommunity Health Coordination at (610) 891-5311
