St. James To Offer Free Soup On Tuesdays During Winter Months
St James Church, Route 420, Prospect Park, will hold a free Soup Luncheon 11 am to 2 pm Tues. (Feb. 14). The lunch is complimentary (donations are gladly accepted) and will feature homemade soup, bread, butter, dessert, and drinks.
The church will offer a soup luncheon 11-2 every Tuesday during the winter months. The hot meal is available to those in the community, anyone traveling through and anyone desiring a lunch. The church, which was in danger of closing earlier last year, is back on its feet and wants to "pay it forward" for all the generous donations it received.
