More FREE stuff around town!

Marple Public Library welcomes author Jeffrey Zaslow to receive the first "One Book, One Broomall" award at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10 at the library, 2599 Sproul Road in Broomall.  Zaslow is a former Marple Township resident, and writes a column for The Wall Street Journal. His books "The Last Lecture," co-written with Randy Pausch, "Highest Duty," co-written with Chesley Sullenberger, and "The Girls from Ames" are all New York Times’ Best Sellers List. ‘Lil Raiders Reading Club
Annunciation B.V.M. School, 401 Brookline Boulevard in Havertown, is hosting a free reading club event from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7.  The Lil' Raiders Reading Club is a free family activity for parents and their children ages 3-5 years old.  The Reading Club is a structured hour of book-centered activities involving reading, songs, crafts, and socialization.  Children leave with a book and a goodie bag.  This event is open to the whole community but space is limited.  We look forward to seeing you and your child!
