   David Webner, MD, Crozer-Keystone Health System sports medicine physician and team physician for The Philadelphia Union, will present a seminar, “More than Just a run: Marathon Training and Conditioning,” Monday, Sept. 12, 6:30 p.m., at the Helen Kate Furness Library, 100 N. Providence Road, (Route 252), Wallingford.
   He will cover Arthur Newtown’s laws of running and how to apply them to a beginner’s marathon training, overtraining and how to  prevent it and more.

  Riddle Hospital has scheduled an Emergency Medical Services Continuing Education Program, 7:15-9:15 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Health Center 3, Community Education Center.
   The topic will be “C-Spine: Most Frequent Injuries,” taught by Louise Hummel.

   In recognition of national Prostate Health Month, Crozer-Keystone Health System is offering free prostate screenings in September. 
  Screenings are available for men who are over 50 years old (40 years old if they are African American or have a family history of prostate cancer). Participants should not be under the care of an urologist, been treated for prostate cancer, or have had a PSA test within the last year.
The PSA test and a rectal exam of the prostate will be offered. 
  Free prostate screenings will be held at the following locations: 
Sept. 12, 5 to 7 p.m. -- Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Delaware County Regional Cancer Center;                             
Sept. 14, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. -- Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Crozer Regional Cancer Center;          
Sept. 19, 5 to 7 p.m. -- Taylor Hospital, Short Procedure Unit;
Sept. 21, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. -- Springfield Hospital, Pavilion I, Suite 110.
