Many people believe that most of the injured during the Civil War received medical attention on the battlefields. Four major sites were used to treat both Union and Confederate casualties in Delaware County: Crozer Hospital, Lazaretto Quarantine Hospital, Villanova University and Williamson Trade School. The role played by the Chester Rural Cemetery will also be explained.
Admission is  FREE, but any donations will benefit the Chester Historical Preservation Society.
