FREE 'Blackbeard' Presentation

“AHOY MATIES”

    The Newtown Square Historical Society is featuring a slide and talk program on “Blackbeard in Marcus Hook”, by Mike Manerchia.

The presentation will be on Wednesday, October 26^th, in the Dunwoody Village Auditorium, at 8:00P.M. 
 

    Mr. Manerchia, after purchasing an old house in Marcus Hook, discovered artifacts linking the house to Blackbeard the pirate.  The house had been in his wife’s family for 100 years.

    This is a fascinating discovery and is sure to be a great program.
