FREE Event Features Red Arrow Trolley Presentation 

  Springfield Historical Society will present a free digital slide program on the Red Arrow trolley, 7:30 p.m., March 27th, at the Springfield Township Building, 50 Powell Road.

    Trolley historian, Stan Bowman, will show the Ardmore trolley line, including the P & W line, from Ardmore Junction to Norristown.

   Refreshments will be served following the program.

 FREE 'Alzheimers' Presentation At Area Senior Center

Senior Community Services’ Center for Life Long Learning is offering Is It Alzheimer’s?, on Thursday, April 5, 2012, 1:00 PM, at Schoolhouse Center, in Folsom, with Instructor Karen Barnes, Hospice Inspiris of the Alzheimer’s Association.  Karen will be explaining what dementia is, the process of dementia diagnosis, the specific types of dementia, and what therapies and programming is helpful for caregivers in the home.  We will be having time set aside for questions and explain about our new caregiver support group to start on Wednesday, March 21^st.  No fee. To register, call Lori at (610) 237-8100. Ext 11.
