FREE Art Exhibit at DCCC
Don’t miss the next exhibition on view in Delaware County Community College’s Art Gallery (901 South Media Line Road, Media). “Fragmented Realities,” a visual arts exhibition, opens Thursday, April 3, with an artist discussion by Vishal Jugdeo (whose work is on view simultaneously at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia), Michael Williams and Eric Laska at 11 a.m. in the Large Auditorium followed by a reception in the Art Gallery at noon.
Curated by Randy Gilmore, Fragmented Realities features the work of seven artists: Oliver Herring, Vishal Jugdeo, Eric Laska, Amanda Ross-Ho, Miljohn Ruperto, Daniel Wiener and Michael Williams. The exhibition includes sculptures, video installations and more.

FREE ‘First Ladies’ Presentation at Dunwoody

Join the Newtown Square Historical Society on Wednesday, March 19th,   beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Dunwoody Village Auditorium  for the presentation, "First Ladies of the United States," presented by Barbara Falini.
While the men who ran for president sought the post, many of their wives were required to smile, wave, and go along for the ride. These wives were often thrust into high profile positions and then expected to embrace causes, be the dutiful political spouse, and perform flawlessly on the world stage.   Some wives were actually more ambitious than their husband and are the reason why the husband rose so high in the first place.    One wife was the acting president for two years when her husband suffered a disabling stroke.
Please join us in welcoming Barbara Falini as she explores these topics.  A graduate of West Chester and Villanova universities, Falini taught economics and government in the West Chester Area School District for 42 years.  Currently Barbara teaches in the Osher Lifelong Learning project, sponsored by Widener University.
This program is held in the Dunwoody Village auditorium, 3500 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square. The public is always welcome. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided by Dunwoody.

Unique Follow-Up Protocol- As part of Abramson Care Advisors' commitment to the community, each call is followed   up within a week of the original correspondence to ensure that all questions were answered. On average, Abramson Care Advisors places about 800 follow-up calls per month.
Extensive Resources at its Fingertips- Abramson Care Advisors leverage the Abramson Center's breadth of resources and knowledge under the organization's umbrella, including: a nationally-recognized research facility, medical adult day services, long-term care, transitional care and rehabilitation services, dialysis services, home care and hospice, as well as many community relationships built upon more than 140 years of quality service in the Greater Philadelphia region.
Individualized Care Referrals- Each call is handled on a case-by-case basis and is given advice and expertise based on the senior's needs — there is no blanket response and, because of that, a call can range anywhere from 20 to 40 plus minutes (whereby the solution is not necessarily a recommendation to seek care through one of the Abramson Center's services unless that is truly the best option for the senior).
