‘Taking Care Of Mom’ Workshop Offered
To assist the community in advocating for older adults in their lives, Anderson Elder Law will present a free workshop, “Taking Care of Mom: Advocacy Tips for Long Term Care,” 6:30 to 7:30p.m.,
Tuesday (May 24) at Anderson offices, 206 Old State Road, Media.
Becky Ledva, LSW, Care Coordinator for Anderson Elder Law, will address basic skills of advocacy, different levels of long-term care and how the law includes protections and care guidelines for family members in all levels of care, including personal care homes, assisted living communities and long term care nursing facilities.
