FREE Event In Glenolden To Suppor Our Troops
Support Our Troops Event In Glenolden
The First Presbyterian Chuich of Glenolden, Murray Stuart Post 566, VFW Post 7213, Herbert W. Best Post 928 and Glenolden Borough will host the Third Annual “Care Package Collection” to benefit our troops 10 a.m. to 12 noon Sat. (July 23) at Glenolden Park, corner of W. Knowles and S. Llanwellyn Ave.
Local residents can stop by with donations of toiletries and small treats for the troops. The annual community event will feature a FREE art, poem and letter workshop, all of which gets sent to the troops. Participants will be treated to FREE hot dogs, pretzels, soda and more.
In the event of rain, the location will change to First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden, 2 South Chester Pike, Glenolden.
