FREE "Pink" Day At AC MOORE

  Putting more candles on a birthday cake may make some reluctant to celebrate, but enjoying a birthday is a milestone for some 11 million Americans who have a history of cancer, including 2.5 million breast cancer survivors. Every  local A. C. Moore store will hold a FREE TO THE PUBLIC event on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. where participants can “make and take” their own pony bead pink ribbon pin, to signify awareness of breast cancer.  And, people can make a donation to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program at check outs.
