Travel Instruction for Wheelchair Users
The Delaware County Transportation Management Association will host a FREE presentation – Going Places with Public Transportation: Travel Instruction for Wheelchair Users – on Tuesday, September 27th at 10 am. The presentation will be held at the Granite Run Mall, on the upper level near Boscov’s. The presentation will cover how to plan a trip on public transportation, how to pay the fare, and how to be safe and enjoy the ride. The presentation will also feature an out-of-service SEPTA vehicle to provide the opportunity to see first-hand how to board and secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices. This free presentation is designed for persons who use mobility devices, agency staff, caregivers, and family members.
The presentation is free, but seating is limited. For more information or to reserve your seat, call the Delaware County TMA at 610-892-9440.
