“THE NIXON ERA”

  The Newtown Square Historical Society is proud to have noted Speaker and Historian Ashley Hunter as their February 15^th speaker.   His subject will be Richard Nixon, a President whose story will be of interest to many people – especially those of us who lived through those turbulent times. Whatever his role in Watergate was, Watergate will always remain the big question and darkest moment during Nixon’s term in office.   Great moments such as when Apollo II landed the first man on the moon tend to stand alone rather than remembered as part of the Nixon era.  Have we forgotten that Nixon was the first president to travel to China?
