Children's Storytime FREE Programs at Marple Public Library have begun for the fall.  Time for Tykes for children ages 3 1/2 to 5 is Mondays at 10:30, PJ Family Storytim is Tuesday at 7:00pm for all ages, and Toddler fun is Thursdays at 10:30.  No registration is required.  Don't miss the fun.  For more information, please call the library at 61.356.1510.

Composting and Fall Gardening Questions at Ridley Township Library

Would you like to save money and be earth-friendly? Learn to compost with Penn State Master Gardener Joe Daniels. Joe will visit Ridley Township Library on Wednesday, November 3rd at 6:15 pm. He’ll teach you how to turn your garbage, leaves and fall clippings into an all natural product to use next year to help your garden grow. Joe will answer all your fall gardening questions, too! Caregiver stress program at Ridley Township Public Library

Do you have a loved one with dementia? Are you a caregiver who’s feeling stressed? You can learn more about dementia and taking care of yourself at a free program to be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 1 at the Ridley Township Public Library,
100 E. MacDade Boulevard
in Folsom. This one-hour program will provide tips and suggestions for dealing with stress, and the challenges of living with someone suffering from dementia. Very Cheap DVD/CD Sale!

The Friends of the Marple Public Library are hosting their Fall 2010 fundraiser sale of used audio and video items from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4 and Friday, Nov. 5. There will be children's, travel, drama, family, action, comedy, horror, science fiction books and foreign films, audio CDs and books on tape and CDs. Now is the time for you to make a donation to our fundraiser. This is the perfect opportunity to clean out your shelves, prune your collection, and make room for more of your favorites. For your convenience there is a blue collection tub inside the front of the library for you to deposit your old audio/video material
